How did I handle… Developing a VFX Workflow inside a 3D Production Pipeline for Render Time

I’m dividing the production process in the following 4 steps:
• Modeling
• Rigging
• Visual effects (VFX), and
• Rendering
I’m dividing the VFX workflow in 3 steps:
• Particles colliding with character’s body
• Background particles simulation
• Character body’s simulations
I’m developing a workflow for flowers, plants, and bugs flying towards her, at the beginning of the short film. Simulating 4 tunneled force fields, swirling particles in her direction, and using an animated Alembic low‑res version of her body as attractor and collider. I am retouching photographs, adding some procedural dust to the particles inside the tunnels, and simulating them using nParticles.
