How did I deal with… Modeling Prop Glasses Assets for an XReality App

The goal of this development is to provide the company with an efficient manual retopology workflow for the assets production pipeline. The result are photo‑realistic low res models with UVW and curvatures based on edge loops which allow for infinite subdivisions and smooth transitions between roundness degrees. After texturing and rigging, the staff is uploading finished models into an augmented reality (AR) app for iOS. These are the fundamental steps in the workflow:
• Scanning
